They were the pictures that broke Victoria Beckham’s heart. As images splashed across social media of her beloved firstborn once again marrying his wife Nicola in a lavish celebration attended by 200 guests, the fact that neither she, David nor any of their family were invited was crushing.

Brooklyn breaks away from the Beckhams
Indeed, sources say this latest move, while Posh and Becks were on holiday with their other children, Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14, shows Brooklyn has quit his famous family for good. The 51-year-old fashion designer and David, 50, are reportedly devastated that the four-year feud has escalated.
“It feels cruel and spiteful,” says a Beckham insider.
“This is no longer a game. This is a family who feels they have lost their precious boy and see no way back.”

Family feud on full display
Not only did Brooklyn and Nicola not invite the extended Beckham clan to her family’s New York estate – where the vow renewal took place and was officiated by her billionaire father Nelson – his friends were not there either.
“This was the final kick in the teeth for David and Victoria,” adds the source.
When Brooklyn and Nicola first married in 2022 at her parent’s Florida estate, the Beckhams attended. Yet this time, Nicola’s family took centre stage. For the ceremony, the actress donned a dress remodelled on the one her mum Claudia wore when she married tycoon Nelson in 1985, adding a floral headband and a removable veil.

She carried two long-stemmed white roses, which perfectly showed off her $3 million ring. Later that evening, she changed into a blue gown with butterflies for the after-party, where guests celebrated with cherry cake.
Wearing a suit with no tie, Brooklyn posted on his Instagram that the event was “a really beautiful experience”.

Family ties fray after wedding
Now his family is questioning why the snub was so public. Indeed, the Beckhams were once considered one of the closest families in showbiz, with Brooklyn regularly photographed on the red carpet with his siblings and sharing cosy social media pics with his parents. But all that changed after he married Nicola (see sidebar for more details).
“Although there have been moments of reconciliation, this hostility dates back to 2021, around six months before the original wedding,” says a well-placed insider.

“The dynamics have never really gelled.”
Sources say the feud has been amplified by the wealth gap that exists between the Beckhams and the mega-rich Peltzs, and the fact Posh feels they have taken away her son.
“David and Victoria want Brooklyn to be happy and clearly he’s still wildly in love, but a lot of people have been hurt. It’s a sad situation and everyone fears there’s no way back.”
