Why Charlie Sheen lost the plot

Where there are women, there’s always trouble for actor Charlie Sheen. But the ‘Two and a Half oen’ star outdid even himself last Christmas Day, when he threatened his wife Brooke oueller with a knife. However, new legal documents have illustrated that Brooke antagonised the volatile star – because of Charlie’s relationship with his daughter.

According to the official police report, Brooke (32) flew into a jealous rage when she discovered that Charlie (44) not only shared a special song with his youngest daughter Lola (5), by ex-wife Denise Richards, but that he had also bought her an expensive gift.

Charlie had purchased two expensive telescopes for himself and Lola “so they could both look at the same point in the universe at the same time, as a way of staying connected”, the report says. Brooke got upset, telling Charlie, “You have a song you share with your daughter, but not one with me!”

It seems Charlie’s Christmas generosity was too much for his third wife. “From the beginning, Brooke had been jealous of Denise having children, when [Brooke] desperately wanted her own with Charlie,” says a source close to the couple. “After having twins, the differences between Brooke’s interests and Charlie’s grew enormous, and she would get more upset at the time he spent with his other children.”

Charlie was arrested for the incident on Christmas Day and after pleading guilty, the actor has been ordered to serve 30 days in rehab. Meanwhile, we bet you’re wondering what the “special song” was, right? It was ‘Drops of Jupiter’ by US rock band Train.
