Whitney Houston wants daughter

Whitney Houston has revealed that she only agreed to a comeback once she knew her daughter trusted her. The reformed singer said she wants to be the best mum she can be to daughter Bobbi Kristina, 16.

Whitney says “She and I are not only mother and daughter, but we’re good friends. I want her to trust me, to be able to trust in me, to know that I’m not going nowhere.”

Whitney said that she wanted to find more time to also spend with her own mother, now: “I wanted to spend more time with my mom because during most of my 20s and 30s but I was dealing with making records and travelling the world and being this thing – icon.”

Whitney has just released ‘I Look to You’, her first studio album since 2002’s ‘Just Whitney’ and seems poised for a great comeback, after years of personal turmoil.
