Tourism New Zealand have launched an ingenious new marketing campaign, cashing in on the success of the Kiwi adaptation of The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings by Kiwi Peter Jackson.
Fans of the franchise are encouraged to take their quiz and discover which race on Middle Earth most suits their character.
And once you’re given your race, Tourism New Zealand have devised an entire packing list that you’d need – depending on whether you’re a Hobbit, Elf or Dwarf.
On top of this, they give you your own perfect unexpected journey, and where you’d most enjoy going in New Zealand based on those races.
Pretty clever.
