Tom Cruise wants to have parties around the world to celebrate his milestone birthday.
“I’m going to be 50 on July 3 and I think we’ll have a big party. I’m going to have a party in every country. I’ll say, ‘Look, I’m 50, man! Where’s my party?'” the actor says.
The oission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol star’s celebrations aren’t likely to take place on his actual birthday, however. He’s scheduled to be filming that day, but insists he isn’t upset about working on his big day.
“We’ll have parties somewhere, but I’m going to be on set – that’s what I love doing,” he says.
Tom – who has five-year-old daughter Suri with wife Katie Holmes and adopted kids Isabella (19) and Connor (16) with former spouse Nicole Kidman – is also planning to pitch in with the cooking over the festive season. Though the star will concentrate on breakfast for his brood, rather than the traditional roast dinner.
“The family gets together and cooks breakfast and everyone pitches in. I’m not a gourmet chef, but I can whip up some eggs. We’re going to chill together and play games. We’re all going to have a really nice, quiet time.”
