Hollywood veteran Suzanne Pleshette has died.

The actress — who starred in the Alfred Hitchcock classic ‘The Birds’ but was best known for her role on ‘The Bob Newhart Show’ — was 70 when she succumbed to respiratory failure.
Suzanne had previously battled lung cancer and underwent chemotherapy in 2006.
