Former Superman co-star Teri Hatcher – now flying high as a Desperate Housewife – admitted enjoying her hosts’ hospitality a little too keenly when she appeared on stage in London to collect a US Actress of the Year award. “I flew in today from California. I’m red-eyed, tired, and also a little drunk” she said. Inspired by a warm response from the audience Hatcher proceeded to deliver a long and emotional speech about women’s lives, and even confided that she planned to take her 7 year old daughter to see the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace!
