Teri Hatcher has injured herself on the set of hit TV show `Desperate Housewives’. The actress, who plays Susan, had a piece of glass lodged in her eye when a light bulb exploded. “It scratched my cornea,” Teri revealed about Tuesday’s accident. “I was taken to a wonderful eye doctor, and I am now wearing a most glamorous eye patch over the right half of my face.” She added, “The good news is the cornea is the fastest healing tissue in the body. I’m in some pain, but trying to see the humor in the oddity of it all. No one was at fault.” [27 April 2006]
