Sir Paul McCartney has reportedly been left shocked after a gang surrounded his tour bus.
The 67-year-old former Beatles singer was touring in Mexico recently and had to be rescued by police when a gang surrounded his vehicle and jumped up and down on the roof.
“At first his security team though it was just swarms of fans but when people started scaling the bus, the situation changed in a flash,” says a source. “Paul and the team were shaken up.”
However, Paul’s spokesman has said ‘attack’ is too strong a word for what happened, and claims the legendary performer’s vehicle was surrounded by fans who became overexcited. “No one was terrified,” he says, adding the reports have been “very much exaggerated.”
