Russell Brand holds sober stag party

It may seem hard to believe, but comedian Russell Brand has held a quiet, sober party to celebrate his impending nuptials to singer Katy Perry, but enjoyed every minute of it. The actor, who has been addicted to drugs and alcohol, was home before 2am and out early the next day, fresh-faced, to meet with director Guy Ritchie about a film project.

Russell started the day watching his team-of-choice West Ham United along with ‘Little Britain’ star David Walliams and oasis band member Noel Gallagher. The star and his pals then carried on to a pub and spent several hours eating and drinking, before moving onto a dancing club in London and then heading home for the night.

The funnyman will reportedly marry Katy in the next few weeks in India.
