Rove McManus expecting his first child

Comedian Rove McManus and his wife, Tasma Walton, have confirmed they are expecting their first child. Rove’s wife of three years debuted her baby bump at the premiere of her new film Mystery Road at the Toronto Film Festival.

“The obstetrician started the ultrasound, then turned to me and said, ‘It’s official: you’ve knocked her up.’ That is not a joke. That really happened. I’m not sure if it’s a standard medical term but it was nice to have it confirmed,” said Rove at the premiere.

Although Rove and Tasma have been based in the US the couple confirm that the baby, due next year, will be born in Australia.

“I’m very happy and excited at the thought of being a mum. It’ll be a nice payoff for all this morning sickness, reflux and constipation,” added Tasma.
