Pete fears prison

Kate Moss’s ex-boyfriend Pete Doherty pleaded guilty to drug possession in court – and then attacked a fan only hours later. The singer, who pleaded guilty to possession of heroin, crack cocaine, morphine and cannabis, was informed he would be sentenced for the offence on February 8. only hours later, he was involved in a brawl at a gig with his band, The Babyshambles, at a London club. An eyewitness says, “When Babyshambles came on stage, a guy threw water at Pete. Then the guy shouted out and Pete dived into the crowd and started punching him. A fight broke out and when security got involved, Drew and Adam from the band jumped in and a mass brawl broke out.” The frontman is said to be terrified at the prospect of going to prison. A friend reveals, “Pete’s convinced he’s going to be locked up. He’s very agitated all the time now and the least little thing gets to him. It’s not like him to attack a fan so things must be bad.” [24 January 2006]
