Nicole Kidman has revealed that her relationship with Keith Urban has helped her express her sexuality in a way she wasn’t able to while married to Tom Cruise.
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the 45-year-old says she did not feel comfortable about herself while she was married to Tom.

“In those early years, it was like, ‘I’m here and I’m clutching onto your arm, and it all feels a little overwhelming and really strange … I was shy. Deeply shy.”
But The Paperboy star says since marrying Kiwi-born singer Keith she has found confidence in her own sexuality.

“He just gave me confidence,” says Nicole, “through just being very kind to me and understanding me, opening me up to trying things, my sexuality, those sort of things.”
Nicole says she only had a “fleeting” read of the gossip surrounding her ex-husband and his divorce from Katie Holmes, saying “I’m not caught up in any of it…it’s not really part of my life.”
