The newest face of Gucci is Monaco’s Charlotte Casiraghi, Princess Caroline’s 25-year-old daughter.

Charlotte– who is the granddaughter of the legendary Princess Grace of Monaco – has had a close relationship with the fashion house for some time after wearing exclusively designed Gucci riding gear for two years in her equestrian competitions.

At the time of the initial collaboration between Gucci and the young royal, the luxury label’s creative director Frida Giannini admitted Charlotte was one of her top 15 personal fashion icons.

“She is the modern royal whose effortless elegance defies contemporary style.” Frida says.

Additionally, following in the footsteps of her model mother, Charlotte graced the cover of French Vogue in September 2011 and has appeared on the front row at a variety of major fashion shows over the last two years.

The Gucci appointment will be some welcome good news for Charlotte after she recently split from her boyfriend of four years Alex Dellal, the son of millionaire property owner Guy Dellal.
