Former N’ Sync singer Lance Bass is getting hitched. The 34-year-old, who recently performed at the MTV Video Music Awards alongside Justin Timberlake and the rest of the crew, proposed to his boyfriend, aspiring actor Michael Turchin in New Orleans.
Lance gave Michael, who he has been seeing since 2011, a black diamond ring and posted a photo on Instagram. “He said YES!! Love this man,” Lance wrote.
“They’re such a great couple, everyone is so happy for them,” a source told Us Weekly. “Their friends and family are thrilled.”
Lance, who came out publicly in 2006, reportedly texted his future husband’s parents to ask for their permission first.
