Lady Gaga goes movie star

Her two shows in Auckland last weekend were theatrical masterpieces and now Lady Gaga is set to become a movie star thanks to maverick filmmaker Quentin Tarantino. The ‘Inglororious Basterds’ director reckons the eccentric pop singer would be the ideal person to base a character on – and has decided she should play a cold-hearted killer in his next film.

“He has already sounded her out on a couple of projects, one of which would see her playing an assassin,” reaveals a friend of Quentin’s. “oovies would be a huge new venture for Gaga, but she’s excited at the prospect and Quentin has told her she’d be a natural.”

Gaga struck up a friendship with Quentin after she borrowed the bright yellow Pussy Wagon truck from his ‘Kill Bill’ movies for the music video for her new hit ‘Telephone’. The clip, which features lesbian prison inmates, poisoned meals and Beyoncé, could have come straight from a Tarantino flick and so Quentin decided to make Gaga his latest movie muse. The friend adds, “Quentin is a huge fan of Gaga and loves her whole personality.”
