Reality-TV star Kelly osbourne thinks she is too honest with her female friends, as she often tells them they look fat.
The 27-year-old – who has battled with her weight in recent years – has always surrounded herself with male friends and admits she isn’t always comfortable with female companions because she is too honest.
“I’m much more of a British girl than a Los Angeles girl. I’m not full of s**t enough to be an LA girl. But I have started hanging out with women more.” Kelly says.
“I still find it tough to be around girls because I always say the wrong thing. If a friend asks me if I look fat in something, I’ll be honest and say, ‘Yeah’ when she does.”
Kelly has shed a substantial amount of weight since taking part in Dancing with the Stars two years ago and while she is happy with her newly-trim figure, she still doesn’t enjoy looking at herself in the mirror.
“The pivotal moment was when I came out of rehab the last time and got a call from Dancing with the Stars. I’d gained so much weight replacing drugs with food, so I decided to do it just to lose a bit.” She says.
“But do you know what the hardest part was? Being forced to look at myself in a mirror eight hours a day. I’m not the kind of girl who likes to do that. Now it’s easier because I get sent all these amazing clothes by designers I love.”
