Friends of pop singer Katy Perry say she is doing a little soul searching during her stay in Singapore and Tokyo. The Firework singer was in Asia after performing at the Singapore Grand Prix and those close to the singer hope the trip will help distract her from on-again, off-again boyfriend John Mayer.
Katy may be headed for heartbreak as she continues to date the notorious lothario despite being temporarily dumped by text message within their first few weeks of dating.

The pair has rekindled their relationship in recent weeks – and Katy’s pals are worried she is “dangerously in love” with John.
“At first, she was quite careful with John and said she wasn’t ready for a relationship and just wanted to have fun,” a source reveals to Radar Online.
“But now she appears to have fallen dangerously in love with him and her friends are concerned.”
Katy has been in good spirits during her Asian trip, visiting a volcano and taking part in meditations. The star likened her adventures to the popular book and film Eat Pray Love.

But even with her independent spirit friends are still concerned about the star’s wellbeing.
“Despite the fiery image Katy likes to present, she’s actually more fragile than that, and when John dumped her a few weeks after they first got together she was devastated,” a friend says.
