Katie Price didn’t get quite the intimate second wedding she was planning, when a brawl broke out at her church ceremony over the weekend. But luckily, it wasn’t the former glamour model and her cage-fighting second husband who were in fisticuffs.
Things turned ugly for Katie (32) as she arrived at the church to renew her vows to Alex Reid (34), when paparazzi photographers tried to climb into her car. Protecting her exclusive TV deal with a British station, Katie’s wedding security leapt to her defense and all hell broke loose, with the police eventually being called in to break it up.
Katie made it into the church safely, but her spokesperson says, “She is understandably shaken and upset by the actions of these people but is now looking to enjoy the rest of the day with her close friends and family.”
However, things continued to deteriorate inside the church with Katie ordering a number of guests to leave, including her best friend who was told by security, “Katie doesn’t trust you.” of the fracas, another friend says “It left a bad taste in her mouth. She’s upset it didn’t go smoothly. The fight spoilt it.”
