Actress Kate Beckinsale says people should never go parasailing.
The Underworld star was on vacation with her daughter Lily when she thought it would be fun for them both to take part in the popular beach activity, but did not find it so enjoyable once she was in the air being pulled by a speed boat.
Kate – who is married to director Len Wiseman – said: “I spotted one of these parasailing things in the distance and I thought, ‘That looks so peaceful!’ And it isn’t. At all! It was one of the most horrific experiences of my life. Don’t do it!”
“But I got in this boat in my bikini with my child and a couple of other people and then allowed myself to be put in this very flimsy rope diaper thing that was attached with one of these little plastic key-rings on the back.”
“Then suddenly you are 300 feet dangling in the air. one minute you are on the boat and they are all laughing at you and then you are in the air.”
