Singer Jessica Simpson is apparently hanging on to her husband Nick Lachey so she doesn’t lose a cent of the fortune she’s amassed since they married. Insiders claim that it’s Nick that wants out of the relationship as he cheated on his wife but Jessica, whose career has recently rocketed in comparison to her husband, refuses a divorce as it would cost her at least $36 million. The couple have been dogged with split rumours for several months – the latest comes from one of Nick’s oldest friends, who alleges that Nick got a little too cosy with his girlfriend.
