A number of celebrity guests were invited to a party at Jennifer Aniston’s Bel Air mansion over the weekend, leading to speculation that they were attending a surprise wedding for the We’re the Millers star and her fiancé, Justin Theroux. But, in fact, the casual gathering was to celebrate her beau’s 42nd birthday.
The star-studded event was attended by Ellen DeGeneres, Ben Stiller, Jimmy Kimmel, Tobey Maguire, Laura Dern, John Krasinski, Kristen Bell, Isla Fisher, Malin Akerman and Jason Bateman at the party, which was held on the one-year anniversary of the couple’s engagement.
Guests hung outside on the patio of the newly-renovated $26 million, 8500 sq ft home and watched the sun go down before heading inside to toast Justin.
“Most people were dressed casually in jeans and T-shirts,” a source told Us Weekly. “Justin was dressed casually in a black T-shirt and black jeans, and Jen had on a short green skirt and long sleeved top.”
