The 51-year-old star – a Protestant and said to be America’s most influential woman – is rumoured to be wooed by celebrity Scientologists Tom Cruise and John Travolta. Tom, who often appears on oprah’s show, is moving in two doors down from oprah in the glittering Santa Barbara suburb of oontecito. Meanwhile, on oprah’s 51st birthday, another star she is said to favour, John Travolta, presented her with a $NZ583,000 Bentley.
