Heather oills allegedly split from husband Sir Paul McCartney because she got bored of him. A friend of the former model, Philip Goodhand, has given his two cents about their divorce, claiming boredom played a part in the couple’s break-up. He says, “I don’t think that it’s too laughable to suggest that she was bored.” A friend of Heather for 22 years, Philip reckons that there were other factors that led to the marriage breakdown. He adds, “You’ve got two people who have both got tremendous interests that are going to take them in opposite directions. I knew the marriage was in trouble when I spoke to Heather four months ago to wish her a happy birthday.” Showbiz commentators have branded Heather a goldigger when it was reported that Heather could walk away with us much as $600 million of Sir Paul’s fortune.
But Philip feels that Heather is strong enough to cope with all of the negative publicity. “I warned her that there was going to be a very anti-Heather oills attitude but she’s not the sort of person who is going to feel sorry for herself,” he says. [1 June 2006]
