Halle Berry has reportedly started checking out Paris schools for her daughter.
The 45-year-old New Year’s Eve actress wants to move Nahla (4), to France to be with fiancé Olivier Martinez, and has been spotted looking at kindergartens in the city.
“Halle wants somewhere to care for Nahla. She wants to escape the paparazzi in Los Angeles.” A source says.
Halle and Olivier stopped at a branch of the Ateliers de la Petite Enfance, where an onlooker said they, “strolled inside and spend around 30 minutes chatting with teachers.”
With a full-time enrolment cost of around $1800 a month the facility doesn’t come cheap, but a third insider told US Weekly: “Nahla’s education is a priority for both of them. They want to give her a European education.”
“He [Olivier] would absolutely love Halle to be over here full-time. That way they could all be a proper family once the wedding is over.”
One person who won’t be so happy is Nahla’s father Gabriel Aubry who is trying to block the Paris move through the courts.
A source told RadarOnline.com: “Gabriel fears that Halle’s ultimate plan is to get him out of his daughter’s life, permanently. He believes the plan is for Halle to move to France with Nahla and then have Olivier adopt her as his own.”
“It’s not happening though. Gabe will fight tooth and nail to retain custody of Nahla.”
