Who would star as Wonder Woman in the untitled Man of Steel sequel has been the cause of much speculation, but the wait is over with Warner Bros today confirming that Gal Gadot has been picked.
Best known for her role in Fast & Furious 6, the 28-year-old Israeli actress is set to don the star-spangled undies and gold wristbands that the character is best known for.

The beauty won Miss Israeli in 2004, but failed to win a place in the international Miss Universe. Upon completing her reign, she did two years of military service with the Israeli military, as is required by all youth before moving to the US to become an actress.
Gal will star alongside Henry Cavill as Superman and Ben Affleck as Batman in the Zack Snyder-directed sequel.
