Flint Lockwood, our hero from the original film, discovers that his initial food-making invention is not dead – it’s very much alive and once again creating havoc, in the form of “foodimals”.
Cue an almost endless opportunity for puns. The sequel is hard-pressed to be as innovative as its predecessor, but provides plenty of laughs for kids and adults alike.
The movie is so popular, it has already topped the UK box office and will no doubt do the same here.
