Elton John is a generous soul. After adopting dance-music duo PNAU as his protégés, he’s trusted them to reinvent some of his classic tracks. Eight of his less familiar songs have been given an electronic boost to Elton’s original lyrics, with mixed results. The most recognisable is Grey Seal, but in the immortal words of that song, it’s never quite the same as the real one.
