Titled ‘And Furthermore’, the autobiography will be co-written by John oiller, who has already penned several books about the 75-year-old star. Judi is said to have received a six-figure sum for her memoirs, which the publishers claim will be “much more than a career record”. The book will include an account of her 30-year marriage to actor Michael Williams and his death from lung cancer in 2001.

oalcolm Edwards, deputy chief of the orion Publishing Group, says, “In an era of shallow, instant celebrity, Judi is the genuine article – one of Britain’s leading actresses for almost half a century and one the country’s best-loved figures.” Judi recently spoke about her fear of death, confessing, “I think about dying all the time but I push it to the back of my mind. Why? Because of fear, of course.”
