oscar-winning actress Dame Helen oirren has revealed that she plans to be in a remote place on Friday, after failing to receive an invite to the wedding of the decade. The 65-year-old won an oscar for her portrayal of Elizabeth II in ‘The Queen’, and was invited to dinner at Buckingham palace back in 2007. She told in an interview, “I’ll probably be in a little Italian bar somewhere and the football will be on. I’ll ask, ‘Can you switch it over to the royal wedding?’ and they will say, ‘What wedding?'” Helen – who has previously empathised with future princess Kate over the stress of the upcoming high-profile nuptials – said, “I know this sounds ridiculous, but I think people getting married should be a private thing. I hope they will also do an absolutely private wedding just for them.”
