For many, their twenties is considered a golden period of minimal responsibility.
However 32-year-old actress Christina Ricci is glad to be out of the “hurricane” she calls her early twenties.
“I’m so glad I’m not 20-years-old any more. I was in a hurricane,” she says.
“I’m a lot calmer now. I don’t cause destruction for myself and others everywhere I go.”
“I take things as they happen and I’ve learned to be calm, troubleshoot as problems arise and make the best of things.”
The Addams Family star – who is currently single – believes it’s important not to let anyone change her, as her best asset is her individuality.
She told Britain’s Marie Claire magazine, “I’ve always said to people you should never let anyone try to change who you are, because the only commodity you really have is your individuality. There are a million actresses and that’s the only thing that makes you special.”
Asked what she goes for in a guy, Christina said she values “somebody smart and funny, who I love being with.”
