Charlize Theron has been offered a lucrative deal to star opposite the new 007, Daniel Craig, in the upcoming James Bond flick Casino Royale'. A source says of the oscar-winning star, "She is glamorous but she is also a brilliant actress. It would be quite a coup to have an oscar-winner as the female lead." Meanwhile, Charlize has prepared for her role in new comic-book adaptation Aeon Flux’ by studying the bodily movements of tropical lizards. Charlize, who has to run on all fours with her belly only centimetres off the ground in one scene, boasts, “I’m from Africa. I know all about geckos. I used to play ‘Alcatraz’ with them in my yard.” [6 December 2005]
