Charlie Sheen

Actor Charlie Sheen has escaped punishment for at least a month, after his court hearing was postponed. The ‘Two and a Half oen’ actor was due to appear in court with a guilty plea for an assault charge, following an incident with his wife Brooke oueller on Christmas Day.

District Attorney Arnold oordkin says, “We’ve hit a snag. We need more time than is available for us to complete some of the finer points of the plea deal.”

Lawyers on both sides of the case could not come to an agreement for the terms under which Charlie would serve his 30 day prison sentence, causing the hearing to be delayed. A new hearing will take place on 12 July.
