“There is more to music than heartbreak and loss,” says Sonja Glass, one half of Swiss/German melodic pop duo Boy. Their debut album is positive in tone but still sharp, observant and poignant. The pair first earned an internet following with their lo-fi pop song Little Numbers. Other gems on the album include Waitress, about a waitress whose life is passing her by, and Boris, about a lecherous man who tries to pay them for a gig with more than just money.
