His tell-all book is threatening to tear his family apart, but Arnold Schwarzenegger admits he still hopes for reconciliation with his estranged wife Maria Shriver.
“You can call this denial, but it’s the way my mind works … I’m still in love with Maria,” the 65-year-old actor said during a recent TV interview.
Maria filed for divorce in July last year citing “irreconcilable differences” after Arnold admitted he had fathered a lovechild with their housekeeper.
“The divorce is going forward, but I still have the hope that Maria and I can come back together as husband and wife and as a family with our children,” writes Arnold in his new book Total Recall.
