Actress Angelina Jolie insists she “didn’t pay attention” to jokes about her Oscars leg pose.
The 36-year-old Salt star wore a black velvet Atelier Versace gown for the February ceremony and spent the evening standing with her right leg sticking out of the thigh-high side split – much to the amusement of the online community.
A twitter feed was even set up in her limb’s honour but the mother-of-six says she ignored the hype.
She told the Huffington Post: “I honestly didn’t pay attention to it. You know what I mean? I don’t watch those TV shows and if I go online and see something about myself, I don’t click on it. “And the people I surround myself with don’t really talk about that kind of stuff. I heard something, but I didn’t pay any attention.”
“It’s as simple as being a woman picking a dress you like and having a night, and not really thinking about anything else.”
Asked why she plumped for that particular gown, she explained to US Weekly: “I wanted to be comfortable and I feel sexy in black velvet.”
