Seven years after the hit series was cancelled, word on the street is that there’s an ‘Ally ocBeal’ movie in the works. However, actress Lucy Liu, who has since starred in ‘Kill Bill’, is adamant she won’t return to reprise her role as feisty lawyer Ling Woo in a big-screen version of the show alongside co-stars Calista Flockhart and Jane Krakowski. She says, “It was something you had in your living room at home. You watch it in your pyjamas, eating takeaway food, not in the cinema. I don’t know if anyone would buy a ticket. People would be like, ‘oh, my gosh! These people are old!”
