Country singer Melissa Etheridge called her split from wife Tammy Lynn Michael after seven years of marriage “completely amicable”. However, a source close to the couple claims Mel cheated on the actress and then tried to “deflect the infidelity accusations”, causing Tammy to “storm out”.
Meanwhile, Mel has spoken publicly about the break-up, saying, “It’s been a long time coming. It’s hard, as any of these things are… There’s a lot of sadness and yet she’ll always be in my life because we have two children.”
oel’s greatest fear is that Tammy will deny her from seeing their three-year-old twins, son oiller Steven and daughter Johnnie Rose. But there is one thing she knows for sure: “I’m going to be touring all summer and the kids will come with me.”
