Women all over the globe have joined together to celebrate World Breastfeeding Week in a powerful series of photos.
From Shanghai to Costa Rica, Canada to Colombia, protests and public meetings were held to mark the awareness week.

According to the Daily Mail, 500 women gathered in Pasig City, Philippines, on Saturday, feeding their children and holding up signs with slogans like “Breast Is Best”.
The scene was similar in Costa Rica.
Hollywood actress Alyssa Milano Instagramed a series of pics feeding her now almost-2-year-old daughter Elizabella at different ages.
Crowds turned out in Colombia to celebrate the day.
And there was support in Shanghai, too.
Canadia Prime Minister Justin Trudeau shared a personal photo of his wife Sophie feeding their youngest son.
