Beyonce’s recent photo shoot introducing her baby twins, Sir and Rumi Carter, captured the world’s attention, and now another new mum has shared her own family photo album inspired by Queen Bey.
Sharon Kellaway, from Ireland, welcomed twins Senan and Zoe earlier this year, and put her six-year-old daughter to work behind the camera to capture the special arrivals in the family’s back garden.
The mum-of-five shared the hilarious results on Facebook, asking friends: “I wonder how many photos Beyoncé had to get through to get the right one. My 6 year old took the photos … no qualifications and still did a mighty job”.
Cloaked in a children’s blanket, and balancing her bubs on her knee, Kellaway later told the Independent.ie she wanted to remind parents what it was really like to be a new mum.
“I just wanted to take the mickey as [Beyonce] looked so unrealistic,” she told the publication.
“[Her] image was just so unrealistic and photo shopped.”
