Jarryd Stoneman of Paraparaumu has stolen the Internet’s heart after posting a touching video of a dance with his elderly grandmother.
He later posted the clip to Facebook with the caption “asked Nanny for a dance she can’t remember much but she still knows how to move”.
As they sway to the hit Lukas Graham song 7 Years, Jarryd is clearly touched by the special moment, even getting down on his knees to be the same height as his excited dance partner.
As the music finishes, he kisses his nana’s head, before offering to make her some breakfast.
The video has been shared close to 4,000 times on social media, with Facebook users gushing over the sweet moment.
Facebook users, Amy Thomas wrote: ‘Your the man my not so lil cousin! Nanny Kate looks so happy, not a care in the world. Brought tears of happiness. Thanks for sharing Jarryd’, while Damian Dave said “This is a awesome clip – the smile on her face said it all… Mean brother”.
