Robert and Renare Raiba were driving with their daughters Katrina, five, and Karlina, eight, last October, when a Jaguar land Rover ploughed into their vehicle.
It left the two young sisters paralysed from the waist down and with other life-threatening injuries.
In a statement, the heartbroken parents said their children often ask ‘when will we start feeling out legs again’ and they find it too hard to tell them things aren’t going to get better.
Driver Andrew Nay pleaded guilty to causing serious injury by dangerous driving at the court in Northampton, England.
Ahead of the crash, the 39-year-old has been tailgating another vehicle he believed had cut him up.
Robert and Renare said their lives have been “completely shattered” by Andrew Nay’s actions.
They said in a statement: “Andrew Nay’s reckless actions had devastating consequences for our two beautiful daughters.
“We will never be able to forgive him.”
Andrew will be sentenced tomorrow.
