This year’s wedding trends are shaping up as some of the most interesting yet, according to Pinterest.
Fans of the image-sharing site that follow all things wedding-related will probably already know this year brides will be heading down the aisle in a dropped shouldered dress, the cake will be dripped, and berry-coloured lips are a must-have.

And now we can show you the engagement ring that’s shaping up as every bride, or bride-to-be’s dream.
This simple, but incredibly elegant, rose gold solitaire has been saved on the site more than 103,000 times, making it the most-popular.

The ring was custom-designed for its owner Sylvia Billone, who created the bespoke sparkler after being inspired by other images on Pinterest.
While there’s no word on how much it cost, Billone told The Sun the solitaire ring is 1.22 karats with a two-millimetre-width rose gold band.

This year’s most-coveted diamond design is a world away from last year’s ornate dazzler that topped Pinterest’s most popular list.
Designed by American jewellers Raymond Lee, the Verragio Venetian ring featured a princess cut diamond set in 18-karat white gold. It cost $4,300 (NZ$6,055).
