One woman has had her affair exposed on Facebook, after a stranger heard her bragging about lying to her husband.

Stevie Wilcox was working on a building site close to a petrol station in Chester, north west England, when he overheard a woman on her phone.

During the conversation, the woman told the person on the other end that she’d lied to her husband about being in meetings all day, before starting to discuss hotels with the caller.

22-year-old Stevie says he felt bad for the husband, referred to as David by the woman, and decided to expose her shady behaviour online.

Taking to Facebook, he posted a message to the wronged husband.

Stevie posted this message to Facebook

“David. If your Girlfriend/wife is mid 40’s, went to work this morning wearing a black skirt, black tights and a light blue shirt. She told you she was in a meeting all day with work,” he wrote.

“She isn’t, she’s clearly stood in front of me at the Costa coffee machine in Chester Shell garage, telling another man this whole story whilst they’re laughing about it. Oh she also drives a black

Ford Fiesta with the Reg *****. Pack your stuff and get yourself gone Dave.”

While the post has been liked by over 18,000 people and shared almost 8,000 times, some have hit out at the Brit for sharing news of the affair publicly.

“Feel sorry for real owner of that car!!! Espesh if is a woman whose husband could now think she’s cheating because of a “joke” and has children etc” wrote one woman.

Another had this warning: “That’s a great job Stevie, you are a man! A word of advice from an older male though – never do that to someone who you call a friend. Cause it is 90% guarantee you will lose a friend after he finally makes peace with a whore wife, and she will never ever let him hang out with you. Mark my words. but yeah, doing it to strangers is fine!”

The story has gone viral across the world, with news outlets from Spain, Australia and Ireland picking up on the tale.
