My boyfriend spent Christmas in Australia with his family, who moved over there a year ago . I wasn’t invited, which I thought was a bit rude, but we’d only been going out for six months, so I let it pass. When he got home he was acting all weird and I could tell something had happened.
Finally, he confessed he had slept with someone else over there but it was just a holiday thing and not serious at all. He apologised, but now he thinks that because he’s done that we can go back to normal, but I can’t. What should I do?

**Write the last six months off and move on, just like he did – and get a medical checkup. I don’t care if it was a holiday thing and nothing serious, he got involved with another woman and didn’t think enough of you to stop himself and respect your love for him. He’ll do it again. And by the way, I doubt his family even knows you exist.
