A couple have brushed off hurtful comments made about their engagement photos.
Mzznaki Tetteh, a nurse from Ghana, posted a series of photos celebrating the exciting news with her fiance, Kojo Amoah.
However when the photo was shared over social media, Mzznaki was body-shamed by a number of users.
“RIP that mans spine [sic],” wrote one person, while another wrote: “You can see the struggle in his face”.

Mzznaki didn’t stand by and take the abuse, though. She quickly followed up hr original photos with another, telling people their words meant nothing to her.
“Still confident… Your rubbish comments ain’t ruining my happiness,” she captioned the photo. “Thanks to all for the compliments and best wishes…am honored.”

Her husband-to-be has also spoken out about the online abuse and how proud he is of his fiancee.
“To me, I have always been a fan of plus size women and I am so proud of my woman and I don’t care about what anybody says out there,” Kojo told GhanaWeb.
“In every society there are people who will try to discourage you from things that you seek to do but I am not bothered at all. And I don’t regret posting those pictures on Facebook,” he noted.
The happy couple plan to get married on June 25.
