This week we’re focusing on adult cats, with five gorgeous kitties looking for their forever homes.

Summer is traditionally the busiest time of year for the SPCA as it’s kitten season, with hundreds of kittens coming through the organisation’s doors every week. Once they are ready to be adopted, kittens find new homes relatively quickly.

But this means that sometimes adult cats can be overlooked, especially if they are a little shy and need to build some confidence.

If you’re interested in adopting an adult cat, talk to the feline team at your local SPCA to find out more.

BUSTER

Buster is a shy, quiet boy when you first meet him, and would prefer all fours on the ground, as he is nervous being picked up. He loves his belly being rubbed and will interact with you if you get down on the floor with him at his level. Click here to find out how you can adopt Buster.

BEAUTY

Beauty is a friendly chatty little girl, who would make a good companion if you work from home, or spend a lot of time at home. She has been a recent mum with no fixed address, now it’s her turn to be pampered and have a forever home. Click here to find out how you can adopt Beauty

SHERRY

Sherry is a lovely, kind girl, however she doesn’t like to be picked up, therefore unlikely to be a lap cat. She would be best suited to a quieter household with adults or older children. Once she has had time to settle she will be a sweet and loyal companion. Click here to find out how you can adopt Sherry.

MADDY

Maddy is a new mum who can be shy to begin with but once she warms up to you she is a friendly girl. She loves to have behind her ears scratched and is very smoochy. Maddy was brought into the SPCA with her four kittens who are all also looking for new homes.
