Keep the home colourful and cool during the heat of summer with this rainbow fan painted using Resene testpots. Who doesn’t love a rainbow in their living room?

Resene testpots in Resene Dizzy Lizzy, Resene Outrageous, Resene Paris Daisy, Resene Poppy, Resene Pursuit, Resene Seeker and Resene Smitten

Hair dryer
1 If your fan is already pieced together, deconstruct it so you can paint directly onto the blades.
2 Use the ruler and pencil to mark out six lines around the blades.
3 Paint each block, starting from the base of the fan in this order: Resene Smitten, Resene Poppy, Resene Pursuit, Resene Outrageous, Resene Paris Daisy, Resene Dizzy Lizzy and Resene Seeker.
4 To avoid the colours mixing, use a hair dryer to dry each colour before moving on to the next one.
5 Once completely dry, piece the fan back together. Enjoy the colourful breeze!
