Chilean completo loaded hotdogs

These hotdogs are loaded with flavour and are sure to be a crowd pleaser!

Serves: 4


1 pack Farmland Grillmaster sausages pigs in blankets

2 tbsp cooking oil

4 hot dog rolls


2 NZ avocados, scooped

1 lime, juiced

1 garlic clove, crushed

Dash of hot sauce, optional

Salt, to taste

Pico de gallo:

½ small onion, finely diced

1 lime, juiced

½ tsp salt, or to taste

2 Beekist tomatoes, finely diced

½ cup Superb Herb coriander, chopped

To serve (optional):

1 lime, in wedges





  1. Preheat the barbecue to medium heat.

  2. Mix the avocado ingredients together. Season to taste

  3. For pico de gallo, mix onion with lime juice and salt. Leave to marinade.

  4. Drizzle bbq with oil. Cook the pigs in blankets on the barbecue as per packet instructions.

  5. Place hot dog rolls onto barbecue to warm.

  6. Mix remaining pico de gallo ingredients together. Season to taste.

  7. Load rolls with avocado, pico de gallo and pigs in blankets. Drizzle with ketchup, mayonnaise and mustard (optional), and serve with lime wedges.
