When I’m very busy, my beauty routine tends not to go much beyond the basics. Fortunately, you can go a long way with a bit of lipstick. So this week is all about doing the basics better with some great expert tips.
Lip basics
While you’re doing the rest of your makeup, soften lips with a little balm.
Apply a lip pencil or crayon to define shape but don’t just outline your lips, fill in the whole lip area.
Dust the area lightly with a little powder.
Apply lipstick, then blot and dust with powder.
Apply a second coat of lipstick and line the outside of your lips again to help prevent lipstick bleed.
